Fresh, and imaginative, Al-Bahira Middle Eastern Dance Theater is a professional dance troupe dedicated to the performance, education, and creative presentation of dance as a living and ever-evolving art form. We specialize in:

  • Raks as-sharki ("belly dance")

  • Folkloric dances of the Middle East, Greece, Turkey, and North Africa

  • Belly dance fusion

  • Modern, creative theatrical works

Our beautiful dancers are available for hire as soloists or as an ensemble. The Aalim School of Dance, Al-Bahira's educational partner, provides weekly belly dance classes, plus other dance and music workshops.
